Dietitian - Fixed Term Parental Leave Cover
Central Otago Health Services Limited is looking for a New Zealand registered Dietitian to join our dynamic Allied Health team, to cover a period of parental leave of up to 6 months. We require a highly skilled dietitian with a broad range of clinical skills to cover the Central Otago community. The service is based at Dunstan Hospital and is predominantly comprised of outpatient clinics but includes some inpatient and paediatric cover as required.
The successful candidate will require the following skill set:
Relevant clinical experience in community, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
Experience in the following areas would desirable: diabetes management, enteral feeding, and paediatrics.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Interdisciplinary team player who can work across multiple teams and the wider community.
High levels of motivation and passion for supporting people with nutritional issues in the community.
A client centred approach to practice.
The ability to work autonomously with a solution focus.
A desire to work in a rural inter-disciplinary setting.
The salary for this role will be $88,627 - $110,210 per annum pro rata, depending on skills and experience.
