Do you have a passion for supporting children, families / whānau, and caregivers, and advocating for tamariki with disabilities in your community? We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Social Worker to join our Child Development Service team based at Dunstan Hospital in beautiful Central Otago.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and adaptable Social Worker who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. This role may include telehealth, clinic-based work, and community visits across Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes region. We welcome applications from those interested in either an in-person position or a remote telehealth-only arrangement.
As a key member of our Child Development team, you will work collaboratively with whānau, caregivers, Child Development therapists, and community agencies. Experience working with children and families is highly desirable, along with a flexible, person-centred, and mana-enhancing approach to practice.
Applicants for this position must be registered with Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
