Clinical Nurse Specialist - Wānaka Overnight Acute Care Service

Central Otago Health Services Ltd (Dunstan Hospital) provides a seven day/week overnight assessment and monitoring service in Wānaka. The service is nurse driven with clinical telehealth support from Dunstan Hospital senior medical doctors.
We are delighted to seek interest from Registered Nurses keen to work as Clinical Nurse Specialists and prepared to work alone at times.
You will need to be working toward a post graduate qualification and/or have advanced learning and contemporary knowledge in acute/ED assessment. The ability to provide expertise in direct acute care delivery is essential and Rural Health experience is desirable.
A close working relationship with the Dunstan Medical Team will be a feature of this new service, therefore candidates need to be available to work some day shifts with the team at Dunstan Hospital.

The salary band for this role is $125,776 - $137,950 per annum pro rata.
This is a fixed term part time role at 0.375 FTE (3x 10 hour shifts per fortnight), with the potential to work extra to relieve other shifts.
